Teaching Practice

1. Procedures of teaching

Before demonstrating our teaching practice, we must create a lesson plan that will be overseen by our mentor. Sir Fromjo provided us with input after we submitted our teaching plan; this is one of the steps in getting the lesson plan ready for usage and approved by our mentor. According to the material used, The Story of Prometheus, I added numerous objectives to the lesson plan. My lesson plan was created using the Kurikulum Merdeka template, authorized by Sir Fromjo, and then implemented in 10th grade Aruppe.

2. Time Management and organizing activities

For time management of our activities, we were given a schedule made by the main campus Ateneo de Naga University which is also have been approved by our mentor. The schedule part our activities from observation, assistanceship, and teaching demonstration. There are only several days for us to do our program because in september there is a lot of festivals in Naga City and that is why there is also a lot of holidays.

3. Classroom management

The class management was divided into two parts where its held by me and my teaching partner. It was divided as pre-during-post, my partner responsible for the pre and post part where he was assigned to do the motivation such as short question and to prepare the class for the learning activity, he also responsible for the reflection after class. Whereas, I was responsible for delivering the material and facilitating students discussion and questions.
